报告人简介:
Dr. Moriguchi is currently assistant professor at Gifu University (Japan) researching on the numerical simulations in the field of geotechnical engineering. The visit is jointly funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His host is Prof. Yu Huang at Tongji University.
Dr. Moriguchi teaches and conducts research in the broad area of numerical simulations in the geotechnical engineering with a focus on (a) Large deformation analysis; (b) Rockfall simulation; (c) Microscopic behaviors of geomaterial including soil-water interaction. Some typical numerical methods, such as DEM, CDF and SPH are used in his research.
Dr. Moriguchi got Ph.D. at Gifu university in 2005. Then, he worked at the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2009. During the period, he worked in the Stanford University (U.S.A.) as a visiting scalar for 10 months . After he came back from U.S.A., he got current position at Gifu University in 2009.
