International Symposium on Seismic Performance and Design of Slopes

Earthquake-induced landslides were always numerous, widespread, and catastrophic. For the seismic design method of slope, it has developed from empirical design, specification design based on pseudo-static method, into performance based design. However, there are still many challenges in the seismic design of slope, such as uncertainties in the seismic design, dynamic behaviors of soil and slopes subjected to earthquake, improvement and innovation of seismic design method, etc.
In order to prevent and mitigate the landslide disaster triggered by earthquake, the First International Symposium on Seismic Performance and Design of Slopes aims to bring together academic scientists, leading engineers, and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results.
Email an extended abstract to email@example.com by April 30, 2018, including author names, affiliations, contact details and preference for oral presentation. Confirmation of acceptance will be provided in May 15, 2018. The authors with accepted abstracts are recommended to submit full paper by June 15, 2018.
All the accepted extended abstracts and full papers will be collected in an unofficially published proceeding. Excellent papers will be considered for publication in several peer-reviewed international journals.
