报告人简介:

Dr. Hai Liu received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in civil engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He received his Ph.D in environmental studies from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in 2013. He is currently working as a research fellow with the Center for Northeast Asian Studies, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. His current research interests include the development of ground-penetrating radar systems and algorithms for a wide variety of applications, such as non-destructive testing in engineering, environmental monitoring and archeological investigation.

Dr. Liu was a recipient of the Young Researcher Award of the 14^thInternational Conference on Ground Penetrating Radar in 2012 and the Excellent Paper Award of the IET International Radar Conference 2013.
