JOB TITLE: POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will work with the Computational Solid Mechanics (CSM) Research Group and Center for Geoinformatics (C4G) on research project pertaining to modelling of subsidence process in coastal Louisiana due to a variety of causes including tectonic activities, holocene sediment compaction, fluid withdrawal etc. Expected duration of the project is 12 to 24 months.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering or Structure Geology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong background in Computational Geomechanics.
